Sarah McLeishResearcher

Sarah has a Masters degree (MA) in Global Development and International Political Economy from the University of Leeds, UK, and a Bachelors degree (BSc) in Sociology from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Prior to joining Ergon, she worked as a consultant at the ILO office in Bangkok, Thailand working on issues including child labour, migration and social protection.

Sarah has also worked as a trainee in the European Parliament where she focused on issues relating to labour migration and seasonal work.

She has particular knowledge of Southeast Asia and her main professional interests include:

- Labour standards in trade agreements

- Child labour in global supply chains

- Decent work for domestic workers

- Migrant workers and the children of migrant workers
