Ruta Jean-Baptiste Andrieu

Analyst 

Jean-Baptiste Andrieu joined Ergon in November 2007. Jean-Baptiste is a lawyer specialising in labour law and international labour standards.

ImageHe previously participated in a trainee programme at the European Commission and worked for a law firm specialising in work-related accident and disease claims.

Jean-Baptiste also worked in Senegal for the International Labour Office. In this capacity, he wrote two reports on how to tackle child labour in West Africa. Before joining Ergon, Jean-Baptiste was conducting research on France and francophone Africa for a legal directory.

Jean-Baptiste holds two Master’s Degrees in labour law from the London School of Economics and the Paris I - Pantheon-Sorbonne University and recently completed a course in corporate social responsibility management.

  • Train a wide range of stakeholders, from shop stewards to international bankers, on labour issues
  • Advise on the implementation of labour standards questions within socially responsible investment frameworks
  • Evaluate projects and audit systems
